That is a ridiculous excuse not to be one (or to not try to be). Succumbing to peer pressure is never a good thing. If you don't care and just want to fornicate, fine; and conversely, if you want to abstain, also fine, but to lose your virginity just because it's "unheard of" to be a 20-year-old virgin is possibly the worst reason to do it. Sorry if I'm being too blunt; just calling it like I see it.

I'm from a similar geographical area as you, and yet I agree with Brody on the subject. Geographical location has nothing to do with it, at least not as much as the way we were raised. Brody and I both come from devout Christian households, similar to Debby. That's why I really think Debby would tend to agree with us, although I concede we can't know for sure.

Luis,

First of all LA is NOTHING like NY. LA is way more laid back. Second, by your own admission you've "dipped your wick" too so why are you calling me out for it? If you are such a devout Christian then how come you didn't wait?

I enjoy sex and I'm not going to deny it or apologize for it. According to most of my partners I happen to be quite good at it. I pay attention to my partner's needs. Unlike many guys, I realize it's not just about me. One thing for me is that my partner has to be VERY attractive to me both mentally and physically. I've had many opportunities that I've turned down because I just wasn't into them. I've been pretty selective about it. I'm not a gigolo.

I'm not "calling you out." I don't really care what you have done or like to do in that regard, and I don't judge people for that. That's not my job. I'm just taking the position that a Christian such as Debby might take. You know, for the sake of discussion. As far as myself, I regret the sins of my past and I try to live differently in my present.

Fair enough Luis. There were girls that I REALLY liked and that I wish were virgins because I wanted them to remember me as being their first (you ALWAYS remember your first). I was a little disappointed when I found out I wasn't their first but it didn't stop me from being with them and if Debby fell in love with me I don't think my past would change the way she felt about me. If I wasn't Debby's first I'd be okay with that too. I love Debby unconditionally. :D

That's because you're more casual about it. When I was a young teenager I used to be very devoutly Christian and I took it so seriously that I told myself I would never be okay with being with someone that didn't "save herself" for me; and conversely, I would save myself for my "soulmate." Somewhere along the line I slipped in my quest to be worthy of Him. My point was that we just don't know, Debby might be a Christian along the lines of what I was back in those days. If that's the case, you have to admit it wouldn't work between you two.

If that turned out to be the case then fine but at this point I'm not going to assume anything.

So here are the weekly ratings for the new episodes of Disney/Nick shows. The Sunday lineup went up against the Oscars so they're a little on the low side.

#1. Victorious - 3.73 million viewers
#2. Phineas & Ferb - 3.33 million viewers
#3. Jessie -3.11 million viewers
#4. How to Rock - 3.1 million viewers
#5. Fish Hooks - 2.86 million viewers
#6. Austin & Ally - 2.73 million viewers
#7. Shake It Up - 2.62 million viewers
#8. So Random - 2.18 million viewers

"Victorious" is on top, as has been the norm and "Jessie" has been hanging around the top despite the lower ratings. I would like to point out that SR is at the bottom of the list. I have repeatedly made my feelings about SR known that I believe it is time to end it. It has survived some tough times, but with Tiff's pregnancy and the low ratings, I don't see how DC can justify keeping it around.

I like that Jessie beat Shake It Up because it is not their fault, but they NEED to give B and Z their own projects. JUST SAYING DISNEY!!

Olivia,

As usual your posts are wise beyond your years. I totally agree that the girls need to become more independent of one another. They just released separate songs although in my opinion Bellas "song" is a joke while Zendaya's music career is showing true promise. If you haven't done so already listen to her new song "Something To Dance For". It's pretty awesome! :D I have a topic in the off topic forum with a video preview of it.
