She is a very pretty young woman. I am just glad to see that once her time was up she didn't do anything shameless to try to get it back. I am really happy that Hilary is on the road to starting a family and I wish her nothing but the best.

That is well said. I used to have a crush on Christy Carlson Romano but the nude scene she did really has turned me off from her. My fond memories of her "Even Stevens" days have been completely erased because of that.

I don't think anyone would be in shock if Vanessa Hudgens or Miley Cyrus did a nude scene but who would have thought it would have been wholesome all American girl "Ren" (Christy Carlson Romano) from "Even Stevens".

That's a part of the biz. They are adults and if a script is presented to them and it contains a nude scene they have two options. Either they are comfortable with it, and possibly get the role, or they aren't comfortable and don't even get looked at for the part. It's tough on actresses, and I don't look at CCR any less for doing it.

Just reading through the posts here and I have a opinion lol.

UnPopular Opinion time: I actually never was a huge fan of Hilary, never a follower, though I enjoyed Lizzie McGuire. I was totally shamefully addicted too so Yesterday at one point. *hangs head in shane* I know, I know lol.
As for Christy Carlson Romano I loved her song from Kim Possible. But I used to love her in Even Stevens! lol

But congrats to her anyway, I hope she has a great life with the kid!

"So Yesterday" is a delightful piece of ear candy that I am not ashamed to say I still like even now. When I get angry at all the auto-tuned garbage of nowadays and the sound-alike Taio Cruzes, B.o.B.s and Bruno Marses of the world, I can always turn to Hilary for some good old fashioned throwback music.

Comparing Bruno Mars to Hillary Duff is like comparing a Porsche 911 to a moped. Bruno is a Grammy Award winner who is incredibly talented. I wouldn't even call Hilary a singer.

"So Yesterday" definitely describes Hilary's career. She was a cute teenage actress and I wish her well but let's be real here Luis. I can't believe you would compare H.D. to a Grammar Award winner like Bruno.

Actually I was comparing him to B.o.B. and Taio Cruz in that they all sound exactly the same time to me and I have no use for soundalike "artists." I really dislike them. They just don't do anything for me, yet they keep getting played all the time on the radio. I can't do anything about that but I can listen to some feel-good classic songs. Say whatever you want about Hilary's vocal ability but her songs still have more value to me than the aforementioned three and that will probably always be the case.

On another note I didn't know Bruno Mars won a Grammy. I don't think he deserves one (or conversely, if he deserves one then so do his soundalikes), but whatever.

When we did our DC Top 10 lists I listed the fact that Hilary was in the Top 100 or 200 of the decade in record sales. While I don't think her music was the best, enough people did to get her to Gold and Platinum status. So, to me, either the DC machine is that good, or there was some shred of talent.
