Is anyone going to the D23 Expo this weekend?

I posted this on the SWAC board a while ago, but since it's kinda dead there, I might as well post it over here as well.

It's supposed to have most of the Disney Channel/XD stars including So Random. I'd love to go but it's in Anaheim, California so there's no chance. I was just wondering if anyone here was planning to go. It seems like fun. Anyway, it's from August 19-21.

I am not going, although I so wish that I was. Had I known well in advance about this I might have made plans for it, but I had no idea what this even was until I started going on websites run by Webmaster Greg, so it's too late. The ones I really want to see are the cast of Melissa & Joey, particularly Melissa Joan Hart. She was my first celebrity crush and she's still looking hot even at 35. *drools*

Me too.

I didn't mind the 100 drive to see Selena when she appeared at King of Prussia Mall in PA a couple of months ago but 3000 miles is a bit too much of a road trip. It's a shame too because there are plenty of people I'd like to meet like Chelsea Kane and Olivia Holt for instance. Unfortunately, my girl Debby isn't going be there. :cry:

She's still up in Vancouver, B.C. Canada working on her new DCOM. :mrgreen:

The east coast people regretting not being able to go to this thing makes me more appreciative that I actually could go to this thing if I wanted to, but still, that stuff costs money.

That's exactly the problem with today's economy my friend. No one is going to give you a job, you have to earn one or create one yourself. I had to whore myself out for almost a year working for FREE as an intern before they would pay me but that's kind of common in my field. You live in the "Golden State" and you love Disney. Why not give "star tours" of the houses of hot DC actresses? Just remember to STAY AWAY FROM DEBBY'S HOUSE.

Well that's not exactly true. I don't "love" Disney. Disney is my guilty pleasure and has been since I started watching it. I don't care for classic Disney Mickey Mouse cartoons, I never watched DC when i was young, and if I had to pick, I would still pick Nickelodeon today. I just watch Disney for the eye candy for the most part. I do, however, share a birthday with Mr. Walt Disney himself. I wear that as a badge of honor.

All that aside, though, I don't live close enough to anything Disney related and I don't drive a car (disability issues). Otherwise I might consider working for Disney in any capacity, even at Debby's house.
