Oh boy, so here I go, making my first thread haha.

I don't know your guys' opinion of Brenda... but I figured this couldn't hurt since she co-starred with Debby in TSLOD, and this is a Debby forum haha.

Also, sorry if someone's posted about this before, but I didn't see anything about it.

Anyway I saw she's apparently in a new NBC show called Daddy's Girl. http://tvtickets.com/fmi/xsl/shows/browserecord.xsl?&Show=daddy's+girls
Anyone have more information about this? Opinions?

sounds interesting.

This type of comedy is not really my favorite, but it could be worth checking out.

NBC doesn't have much on it's network that is really good besides The Office(kinda losing it's touch) and Community(YEAH!). so if the shows gets on air and it's a hit for NBC, it could stick. :)

How have I not heard about this? Sounds interesting. It'll be good to see her on TV again. I'm not sure I can block out her being engaged to Trace Cyrus though.

I went to a Suite Life on Deck filming once, but I've never met Brenda. Should be interesting. :)

DSK,

You are becoming a valuable member of this forum and you are certainly welcome to start topics anytime you like. The only suggestion I have for you is to cut down on your virtual nervous laugh (all the "haha's"). No need for you to be so nervous, we're all friends here. :D

News about Brenda is ALWAYS welcome on this forum. I think she's VERY pretty and very smart too. It takes a very smart actress to play a dumb character. One interesting fact about Brenda and this comes directly from her during an interview on Radio Disney is that she doesn't sing at all. She admits to being totally tone deaf. She tried lessons at one time but it was hopeless. In the interview she said and I quote, "You'll hear no song from this Song".

I thought that was a really cool way to put it. Personally, I couldn't care less if Brenda doesn't sing. I really appreciate her other talents and her beauty. I think she's awesome and I wish her nothing but success in her new show.

Hahaha sorry, I'll try to cut back on the "haha"s (I just had to erase a "haha" I put in that sentence). I do that all the time when texting my friends that it's just become a habit I suppose. It also comes with my refusal to use emoticons (which I don't really understand why I don't use them. I just don't. Usually.) and my refusal to use "lol" unless I actually laugh out loud. So when I write a sentence, it feels to serious for me, so I write "haha" at the end. But I'll try to do that a lot less!

She doesn't sing? I thought she had a couple songs off of her Wendy Wu movie or something?

I don't know about this one. Brenda has been underrated in her time at DC, so this could be her big break out moment. I hope it works for her.

Meh. I'll have to pass. Brenda never really did much for me.

So after Googling the show, this is all I could find. Apparently, Brenda is NOT the main character, but instead plays her best friend, Cricket (am I the only one who finds that a ridiculous name, bordering on racist? haha)

Yeah, I'm not totally sure about the whole concept of the show, but I agree it has potential. I've also been hearing a LOT about Community, a lot of my friends love that show. I've only seen one episode, but I guess you have to really get to know the characters to understand what's going on.

I completely agree. I was just on the site looking for what shows I could possibly see a live taping of, and then I saw her picture, and I was confused, hahaha.

I'd so go, but unfortunately I'm busy on Thursdays! Let me know how is/what she's like!

Yeah, she's been around for so long with both Suite Lifes (I still don't understand how London went from being the "older girl" to being in the twins' grade. I understand she's dumb, but did she just make it to senior year then... stop? And somehow successfully pass when the twins graduated? haha). I've always been a pretty big fan, and she seems to work hard as well.

DSK,

Although it was never mentioned specifically, I always assumed that "London" was left back. That's how she wound up in the twin's class.
