As you know I'm NO fan of the Kardashians so I was happy to read the following:

With so much of 2011 taken up by hype about Kim Kardashian's wedding and divorce, for a minute there it looked as if the days of Kardashian-endorsed products gone awry were a thing of the past. Well, welcome to 2012. Four former QuickTrim users have joined forces on a $5 million class-action lawsuit against Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, claiming that they bought the diet pills because the Kardashians were promoting them, and the pills did not work. According to documents filed in court, QuickTrim was "marketed by the defendants as a clinically proven formula that will increase metabolism, curb appetite and promote weight loss. In reality, QuickTrim’s main ingredient is a large dose of caffeine, which the FDA has determined is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control." The suit also notes that QuickTrim's advertising campaign seems to consist of various Kardashian sisters in various states of undress. Reps for the reality stars have not yet commented on the suit.

Of course they probably made 10 or 15 mil off this bogus product and they'll probably settle the suit for 1 or 2 mil.

Because they're a bunch of dirty ho's and I guess some tv viewers find them interesting. Personally, I find them disgusting.

I don't even think they're discussion worthy.

I only bring them up when something goes wrong. I can't stand them. :x

I could understand suing the "drug" maker, but how are the Kardashians themselves liable?

Most likely cause the people who filed stated they bought it because the triple K endorsed it.

Though, I don't think that has that good of a chance to stand up in court. the triple K probably didn't even know what the pill contained.

p/a,

The word you're thinking of is spelled with a "C", not a "K".
