Check out the link below. I personally find comments like this very disturbing and I'm just a regular white Dude. The President of the United States is an African American man and I proudly voted for him - GET OVER IT ALREADY PEOPLE! :x It looks like comment #2 started the fire. He probably would have some more to say but I'm guessing he was running late for his KKK meeting.

Not sure how I feel about race being a factor in who is cast where. In general I think what matters most is how race relates to the plot. For instance, if you're writing about a Caucasian family, clearly you can't consider an African-American for a character in the family.

Disney's always looking for ways to cast minorities in an attempt to broaden the appeal to as many people as possible. It's a business decision, nothing more. People need to chill out.

Just a bunch of idiots pontificating their views in a place that was not asking for them.

Just got back from the range. My guns ran REALLY well but it was one of those days that I just couldn't hit the side of a barn. :(

Back on topic. I posted a comment on that site but 24 hours later it's still waiting moderation. I mentioned this site in my comment so I have feeling they won't allow it to appear. I JUST DON'T GET THAT! There's even a field that asks you for a website before you post your comment. How come you can't visit one website and promote another? Are they that afraid of loosing trafic? :x

Greg is right, we all got to chill about the race thing. If Disney is purposely casting actors of different ethnicities to broaden their audience I don't see that as a bad thing.

I don't think Disney is racist. In fact they "killed off" what many consider to be one of their masterpieces because it became politically incorrect as time went on. In 1946 back when Walt himself was still running the company they made a movie called "Song of the South". Some considered it to be the best film to ever to come out of Disney studios. It even won an academy award for best song "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" which of course is a classic Disney song.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to see it and you guys probably won't either. It's locked up in a vault someplace and Disney absolutely refuses to release it on DVD or Blu-ray. I've even heard stories of Disney executives denying this movie ever exsisted but that is kind of silly if you ask me because it's well documented in places like IMDB and wikipedia. Supposidly the film contains content that is now considered to be offensive towards African Americans. :(

This angers me to no end. Why somebody would want to bring up race in connection to the Disney Channel is beyond me.
