Review: Episode #6 "Zuri's New Old Friend"
Before I get into the episode I must say that once again Wikipedia proved itself inaccurate because the
ONLY episode that was shown tonight was Episode #6 "Zuri's New Old Friend". Episode #7 was not shown as Wikipedia indicated above.
This episode was kind of strange for me. You can tell the cast is working very well together at this point and it was well acted. The guest star was very interesting as well. According to my research Joanne Worley ("Nana Banana") was kind of like a Debby Ryan of her time. She was a well liked female actress/comedian who was in high demand. Perhaps I shouldn't say "was" because she is still alive and at 74 years old she proves she still has what it takes . . . kind of. My issue with this episode is that I didn't find it very funny. It was entertaining and the storyline flowed well but I thought the jokes were lacking. I usually LOL when I watch the show but in this episode the only part I thought was funny was when "Jessie" slipped on a banana peel and fell down the stairs.
Maybe my brain wasn't fully awake. After Wizards which by the way I thought was an OUTSTANDING episode (Selena looked smokin' HOT in that 1970's dress!

) "A.N.T. Farm" came on and within a few minutes I fell asleep. As I've been saying for quite a while now "A.N.T. Farm" just doesn't hold my attention.

I woke up at 9:01 PM so I missed the first minute of "Jessie" but it couldn't have been more than that because I saw the title sequence and started singing along to "Hey Jessie".

Sorry, I like the theme song even though I know most of you don't.
So I'll have to watch the episode again and give it another chance at a time when my brain is fully awake.
